Dragon Lady: A 30-Character One-Woman Musical! Cambridge, MA

Dragon Lady: A 30-Character One-Woman Musical! Cambridge, MA

Hi Everyone!

Thank you, Aaron Jin,

Dear Asian Boston Family,

Sara Porkalob Brings The Story of Her Filipina Gangster Grandmother To Stage In A 30-Character One-Woman Musical.

In many Asian families, the sixtieth birthday is the most important of your birthdays, one especially important for telling your stories to your family. If you were young Sara Porkalob, you would have waited 20 years to listen to the stories of an immigrant single woman who overcame child trafficking, sexual exploitation, and gangster feuds to bring her children to America.

The Dragon Turns To Water: Chef German Lam FIGHTS Cancer with a Freestyle Lifestyle

The Dragon Turns To Water: Chef German Lam FIGHTS Cancer with a Freestyle Lifestyle

Hi Everyone,

A longtime friend, German Lam, has been going through the fight of his life, but with an uplifting and positive attitude.

If you want to be inspired, then German's story, along with his Freestyle Lifestyle philosophy, will jump-start you to reach limits beyond any of your perceived limitations.

"Before my first Proton therapy, I was anxious. The staff offered me a pill to chill me out, but I didn’t take it. I knew that I had to become like water and melt into the experience on my own. The great martial artist and actor Bruce Lee said, “You must be shapeless, formless, like water. When you pour water in a cup, it becomes the cup. When you pour water in a bottle, it becomes the bottle. When you pour water in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Water can drip and it can crash. Become like water my friend.” For each treatment, I followed in his wise footsteps."

Even before his current ordeal, German's goal was always to help others in pursuit of a healthy and beneficial lifestyle.

It is my hope that you read his story.
