IMPORTANT CASTING: Vietnamese Male (15-17) for Major TV Show (5th Season).

Hi Everyone!

I got a call from the casting department of this show, and they're currently searching for a young Vietnamese male actor for a major recurring role. This is a huge opportunity. Do not miss out!

DESCRIPTION: 15-17 years old, male. Vietnamese. Serious, smart, and observant. An orphaned refugee, he emigrated to the United States at the age of 10. Forced to grow up quickly, he is emotionally mature for his age. He has strong convictions, and isn't afraid to speak his mind -- often with a directness that can be unsettling given his age.

Union & Non-Union.

Auditions start next week in NYC and via video audition as well (upon details). They will be casting for a few weeks.

If this is for you, please send headshot/photos and resume soon to

If selected, you will be sent details to attend the casting or send a video audition. Please wait, do not send a video until you get details.

(The series shoots in NY from October 2016 - March 2017)

Please pass this along!

CASTING: Japanese Actors, Male/Female (ages 17-60) Independent Film

Hi Everyone!

There is a producer of an independent film being shot in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and they contacted ABMG in order to reach out to actors in New England and NYC.

We are looking for the following talent, Union & Non-Union:

Descriptions (Partial)

Japanese Male, Ages 17-20
Lead Role: Akira is Japanese-American. He’s not terribly happy about having to switch schools right before his senior year, and his relationship with his father has hit a rough patch.

Japanese Male, Ages 40-60
Principle Role: Takashi is a Japanese immigrant. Traditional Japanese culture permeates his essence and he is blessed to have married the great love of his life.

Japanese Female, Ages 40-55
Principle Role: Hiroko is Takashi’s Japanese wife and Akira’s mother.  She may be a terrible cook, but she has a great sense of humor, and she functions as the glue in the family.

The Story (Partial)
Akira, a Japanese-American high school senior, must begin his last year at a new school.  He’s discovered he has a gift for art, but his father Takashi sees no future in it and is determined to stomp it out.  Thankfully, his mother Hiroko draws upon good-natured patience and humor to keep the peace.
They will provide flight, transportation, lodging, food, and expenses. This will also be a paid gig; TBD accordingly.  Location: Oshkosh, WI / Shoot Month/Dates: TBD.
